ePlorium Terms of Service and Rentals Agreement

Acceptance of Terms
By using ePlorium (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
1. General Terms of Service
1.1. The Service strictly prohibits the creation, sharing, or promotion of objectionable content, including but not limited to content that is:
– Offensive, discriminatory, or hate speech
– Harassing, threatening, or bullying
– Violent or graphic in nature
– Infringing upon intellectual property rights
– In violation of any applicable laws or regulations
1.2. Users are responsible for the content they generate within the Service, including text, images, videos, and any other media.
1.3. Users must not engage in abusive behavior, harassment, or intimidation towards other users.
1.4. Users are encouraged to report objectionable content within the Service using the provided reporting mechanism.
1.5. Users have the ability to block other users within the Service to prevent further communication or interaction.
1.6. The Service’s moderators will review and act upon reports of objectionable content within 24 hours of receiving the report.
1.7. Violation of these terms may result in temporary or permanent suspension of a user’s account, depending on the severity of the violation.
1.8. The Service is not responsible for the actions or behavior of its users, but it will take reasonable steps to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
1.9. No Advertising or External Linking: Users are not allowed to advertise or link their profiles from other sites to the platform. This includes promotional content, links to external websites, or any form of solicitation within the Service.
2. Rentals Service Agreement
This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the terms and conditions of renting items from our eCommerce site. By using our site and proceeding with the rental, you acknowledge and accept the following terms:*
2.1. Rental Period and Pricing:
a. The rental period and pricing are determined by each showroom host as specified in the inventory rental list.
b. The rental period commences from the day and time the rental pieces leave the showroom. In the case of delivery, the rental period begins upon receipt of the items.
2.2. Rental Refundable Deposits:
a. Rental refundable deposits must be paid in full at the time of rental.
b. If an item is not returned on time, you will be charged the rental cost of the next time period, plus an additional 20% of the rental cost as a late fee.
c. You can avoid the late fee by extending the rental period before the due date or by contacting the lenders and obtaining their approval for a late return beforehand.
2.3. Returns
a. Exceptions for late returns without penalty can be made by messaging the lender and obtaining their approval.
b. Please make sure to contact lenders if you have any questions before pulling the item. Refunds will only be provided if the rental item does not match the presentation or description as provided by the lender at the time of rental. No refunds will be issued for returns that meet the presented description and appearance criteria.
c. We can waive the pull fee if the lenders agree to it (via messages or in writing)
2.4. Item Return Condition:
a. Items must be returned in the same condition they were rented in.
b. If items are dropped off at the showroom, they will be examined upon drop-off.
c. If items are returned through delivery, you will receive an email notification.
d. If no damage claim is filed by the showroom host or designer within 48 hours, your refundable deposit will be released within 24-48 hours thereafter. Please note that the release of funds may take slightly longer depending on your bank.
2.5. Damage and Liability:
a. Any damages incurred during the rental period, as determined by ePlorium and the showroom host or designer, will be your responsibility.
b. In the case of loss or theft, you are required to pay the full replacement value of the item.
c. Irreversible damages may result in a full replacement charge.
d. Minor damages will be assessed by the lenders or a third-party repair shop, and you will be charged the repair cost of the rental item for such damages.
2.6. Alterations:
a. No alterations to the rented items are allowed unless agreed upon in writing and signed by the showroom host or designers at the time of checkout.
2.7. Credit Card Authorization:
a. When you proceed with your rental order, we will retain the credit card used for the purchase on file.
b. In the event of any damages, we reserve the right to charge your credit card or deduct the corresponding amount from your refundable deposit.
By using our site, you agree to be bound by this Rental Agreement/Contract and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted its terms and conditions.
